Health & Veterinary Requirements
- The breeder has taken every precaution to ensure that the puppy is personable, well-socialized, and in excellent health. The breeder’s goal is for the buyer to be completely satisfied with their puppy.
- The buyer MUST have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) days of adoption, no later than: ____________________.
- If the examining veterinarian is not satisfied with the puppy’s health, the buyer must provide the breeder with a written assessment from that veterinarian.
- The breeder will replace the puppy at the earliest availability with one of equal value and quality.
- No veterinary or medical expenses will be reimbursed under any circumstances.
- If the puppy is not examined within the required 3-day window, this agreement becomes VOID.
Buyer Initials: X__________ - The puppy was examined by the breeder’s veterinarian on ____________________. The puppy received a clean bill of health, first vaccinations, and deworming.
Health Guarantee
- This health guarantee is valid for one (1) year from the puppy’s date of birth and covers life-threatening congenital birth defects ONLY, including:
- Heart defects
- Lung defects
- Kidney defects
- Liver defects
These defects must be documented by a licensed veterinarian within one year of the puppy’s birth.
- The breeder does not guarantee:
- Coloring
- Temperament or personality
- Size, growth, or conformation
- Coat quality
- Testicles in males
- Ear carriage (pricked/upright ears)
- Breeding capabilities
- The following are NOT covered under this guarantee:
- Luxating patellas
- Undescended testicles
- Underbite or overbite
- Hernias
- Open fontanelle
- Cherry eye / dry eye
- Aseptic necrosis
- Parasites (internal or external)
- Coccidia
- Diarrhea
- Ear mites
- Stress caused by shipping or rehoming
- Neglect by the buyer
- Alopecia
- Any condition not considered a life-threatening congenital defect
If the breeder is aware of any such conditions at the time of adoption, the buyer will be notified.
- Hypoglycemia is not covered, as it is commonly triggered by stress and environmental changes in small-breed puppies.
Pet Insurance Requirement
- The buyer agrees to maintain an active pet insurance policy for the puppy for a minimum of twelve (12) months from the date of adoption.
Pomeranians are a delicate and fragile breed, and unexpected medical issues can occur at any time. Pet insurance ensures the puppy receives timely and appropriate veterinary care if an accident or health concern arises.
The breeder strongly recommends obtaining coverage immediately upon taking possession of the puppy. This recommendation is based on personal experience: the breeder’s Pomeranian, Shania, suffered two leg fractures at five months old, resulting in over $10,000 in veterinary expenses without insurance. Adequate coverage protects both the buyer and the puppy.
Buyer Responsibilities
- The buyer agrees not to take the puppy outside or allow exposure to public areas until all puppy vaccinations have been completed.
- The buyer agrees to keep the puppy current on all vaccinations, parasite prevention, and routine veterinary care.
- After the puppy leaves the breeder’s home, the buyer is responsible for all veterinary expenses, including but not limited to:
• Examinations
• Vaccinations
• Medications
• Blood tests
• X-rays / ultrasounds
• Surgeries
• Necropsies
• Grooming / boarding
The breeder does not reimburse expenses for any reason.
Return / Rehoming Policy
- If the buyer is ever unable to keep the puppy/dog, the breeder must be notified and given the first right of return at no cost.
- The puppy/dog may not be resold, rehomed, placed in a shelter, or surrendered to any rescue organization or humane society at any time.

~ The Merle Gene~
A Merle is a Gene that dilutes the black on Pomeranian's in irregular patches all over the body. The patches vary in size from small, medium and large. Sometimes you will get a Litter of puppies that are hard to determine if they are a Merle.
These are called Merle Factored which means they can produce Merle offspring.
Merle & Merle Factored Puppies should NEVER be Bred o any of the following Colors.
- Red
- Orange
- Cream
- White
-Sable
By signing this contract you agree to follow said guidelines.
The only Color's that you should consider breeding to Merle's are the following Colors;
- Black
- Chocolate
- Blue
- Black & Tan
- Chocolate & Tan
- Black Parti-Color or Tri-Color
- Chocolate Parti or Tri Color
- Blue & Tan
You ONLY NEED ONE Merle to produce a Merle Dominant.
This also means ONE PARENT MUST BE A MERLE to produce Merle Puppies.
Pleas Note; YOU SHOULD NEVER BREED MERLE TO MERLE! This combination is EXTREMELY lethal because a Merle is NOT a Color but a Gene and is VERY dominant at that.
Merle to Merle Breeding can result in deafness, blindness, deformed and even dead puppies!
PLEASE!! Be a RESPONSIBLE owner/Breeder.
